Registrations are now open for this year’s Road Transport Forum Conference, organised by RTANZ Region 2 and CARTA.
The conference will be held at the Wairakei Resort, near Taupo, from September 24 to 25.
Topics will focus on central concerns facing the road transport industry, including the need to encourage a more diverse and better trained workforce; and ensuring the safety of all road users by modelling the best driving skills and ensuring business practices are built around health and safety and wellbeing.
The conference is also an important networking opportunity and a forum to celebrate and recognize the work of the industry in increasing the economic productivity of New Zealand.
Main speakers will be Transport Minister Phil Twyford; Regional Economic Development Minister Shane Jones; economist Cameron Bagrie; MOT chief executive Peter Mersi; and employment consultant Paul Mackay; and Taupo mayor David Trewavas.
Members who register now can take advantage of early bird pricing and save up to $75 per person.
